Baby Room
(9 months – 2 years)
Our Baby Room offers a calm, nurturing space designed to support early development and secure attachment. Soft play areas, sensory toys and cosy sleep spaces help babies feel safe and comfortable as they explore the world around them. Consistent key workers build strong bonds with each child, supporting their routines and emotional wellbeing.

Toddler Room
(2 – 3 years)
Our Toddler Room encourages curiosity, independence and early social skills. Children enjoy a wide range of activities including sensory play, construction, imaginative role play and small-world setups. A familiar daily rhythm supports confidence, and outdoor play is part of our routine every day. Toddlers have dedicated key workers who track progress and celebrate achievements.

Pre-School Room
(3 – 5 years)
Our Pre-School Room builds confidence and independence as children begin preparing for school through play, routine and exploration. They enjoy varied learning areas, creative activities, messy play and safe baking, alongside outings that help them learn about their local community. Circle time and consistent key workers support strong relationships and emotional readiness for their next steps.
Bright and Spacious Playrooms
Little Legs Day Nursery features large, well-equipped playrooms filled with natural light. Each room is carefully designed to cater to the different age groups we care for, ensuring that your child has the space to learn, play, and grow in an environment tailored to their needs. With a variety of age-appropriate toys, learning resources, and creative play areas, your child will have endless opportunities to explore and develop new skills.
Secure Outdoor Play Areas
We believe outdoor play is essential for children’s development. Little Legs Day Nursery has a secure garden with both soft and hard play areas, giving children a safe and inviting space to run, jump and explore. Whether it’s sand play, tricycles or the mud kitchen, there are plenty of opportunities for physical activity and connecting with the outdoors.
Dedicated Baby Room
For our youngest children, we have a specially designed baby room that offers a calm and cozy environment. This space is equipped with soft play mats, sensory toys, and comfortable sleeping areas to ensure that your baby feels safe, secure, and nurtured at all times. Our caring staff are always on hand to provide the gentle care and attention your baby needs.
Modern Playroom and Learning Areas
Our playrooms are equipped with the latest educational toys and technology, allowing children to engage in both structured learning and free play. We incorporate modern learning methods into our daily activities, ensuring that your child is always challenged and inspired. From art and craft stations to interactive story corners, our learning areas are designed to stimulate creativity and curiosity.
Nutritious Meals Prepared On-Site
We know that good nutrition is key to your child’s health and development. That’s why we prepare all our meals in-house, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. We offer a variety of delicious and nutritious meals throughout the day, including breakfast, cooked lunches, snacks, and teas. Our menu is carefully planned to meet the dietary needs of growing children, with options that cater to different tastes and preferences.

Safety is our top priority. Little Legs Day Nursery is equipped with secure entry systems, ensuring that your child is always in a protected environment. Our playrooms and outdoor areas are regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where every child feels comfortable, valued, and excited to learn.
CLUBS
BREAKFAST CLUB
We offer a breakfast club where we offer wrap-around care to drop children off at local schools. We have a car that we use to do some school runs, which is fully insured and also walk to the closer schools. We open at 7:30am and provide breakfast for those children to ensure they are ready for the school day.

after-school CLUB
Our after-school club is open until 6:00pm, and we offer wrap-around care which includes a pick up from local schools and a light tea. Our after-school children enjoy taking part in different activities such as drawing, colouring and painting. They also enjoy going outside into the garden, where they can use the balls and bats, and where teamwork is encouraged.

holiday club
We have a holiday club that runs in school holidays, which is open 8:00am-5:00pm. We put out a holiday club timetable in advance on our social media pages and in the nursery entrance, and have themed days throughout the holidays. We will often go on outings to the park or the farm, or even soft play. We provide all food, drinks and snacks for the children and cater for dietary requirements.
